The Master Pasture course is developed to upskill your pasture and grazing management by utilising your real-time farm data during your learning.
This course will provide you with a broader understanding of executing grazing decisions whilst providing the foundational knowledge to analyse your data for making your grazing plan.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to make the best bet tactical grazing decisions given your measured pasture data, the feedstuffs on hand and the nutritional requirements of your animals.

Oliver, our founder and the instructor will welcome you to the course.
2. Course Preparation 💻
In this section, we'll set up your free farm account in Pasture.io so you can get the most from this course. You will also have an opportunity to download the supporting material to reference throughout and after completing the course.
3. Pasture Parameters 🍀
The basis of mastering your pasture is the pasture parameters such as covers, growth rates, feed wedges, and measurement methods. The first small quizzes start to show up in the Pasture Parameters and continue throughout the course to ensure the information is soaking into your big juicy brain 🧠.
4. Herd Parameters 🐂🐄🐑
After growing the pasture, we then need to graze it, and that is where the herd parameters come into play. We'll work through pieces such as the stocking rate impact on growth rate demand, nutritional requirements for dry matter, fibre, protein and energy.
5. App Walkthrough 📱
Linking your skills, experience, and information will occur with this course and within the Pasture.io app. This section will give you an introductory tour of the app so you can feel at home when we start to use your data for decision making.
6. Decision Making 🎯
With all the background learning, we can settle into making supported decisions on your farm. This section will link all of your previous knowledge, skills, experience and information and walkthrough, quizzing you on various areas to feel comfortable understanding what you need to do on your farm.
7. Completion 🏆
Upon your completion of the course, we celebrate. You then walk away with a Pasture.io acreddited certificate, a wealth of new knowledge and supporting material, and a free Pasture.io farm account that you can continue to use and update as you please.
